It's been a busy week for project #twima. I have received many poem submissions from teachers and their classrooms. At this point the process looks something like this:
Teachers submit their poems to me either as an ePub file or a word processing document. Classrooms with iPads and the Book Creator app create their poems using the app and export their pages as an ePub file. I then take that file and combine it to the #twima book. Teachers without iPads are sending files using Word, Pages or Google. Those poems are then copied and pasted into the Book Creator app.
Once the poems are in the book, I create a title page for each class and adjust any fonts and colors as needed. I then send pictures of the completed pages to the teachers and ask for approval. If changes need made those are done immediately.
So far, things are going great. Thanks for the help from Sam Patue and Dan at Book Creator for troubleshooting a few issues.
Have a great weekend.
